UK's EnQuest narrows output forecast after Magnus outage despite profit rebound

By Ankita Bora Sept 3 (Reuters) - Britain's EnQuest narrowed its annual output forecast towards the lower end on Thursday blaming a five-week outage at its Magnus field, even as the North Sea-focused oil producer swung back to half-year profit. The company tightened its expected 2026 production to 41,000 to 43,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, from an earlier 41,000 to 45,000. First-half output rose 9% to 41,544 boepd. EnQuest's shares were down 5% at 26 pence by 1131 GMT.
